Russian missile attack on Kyiv leaves three dead, including nine-year-old girl

Russian troops carried out a missile attack on Kyiv on Thursday morning. The city authorities posted photos of damage in the Desnianskyi and Dniprovskyi districts.
The strike in the Desnianskyi district left at least three people dead, including a nine-year-old girl, and at least 10 people injured, while two people were injured as a result of the Dniprovskyi strike.

The attacks also reportedly damaged multiple residential buildings, a kindergarten, and a medical center.
Ukraine’s General Staff said in its daily briefing that Russia used Iskander missiles, all 10 of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defenses. “Unfortunately, as a result of anti-aircraft operations, people were killed and injured, including children,” read the update.
