Kadyrov’s teenage son arrives at wedding in limited-edition Mercedes-Benz, despite E.U. export ban

Adam Kadyrov, the son of Chechnya Governor Ramzan Kadyrov, showed up at his wedding on June 28 in a limited-edition Mercedes-Benz G-Class “STRONGER THAN THE 1980s,” according to an investigation by The Insider and the reporting project All Exclusive.

The Insider reports that only 460 of these vehicles were ever produced. In photos from the wedding, Adam Kadyrov is seen behind the wheel of a green model. The car was unveiled on April 16, 2025, with a starting price of nearly $190,000 in Germany. The report also notes that since March 2022, the European Union has banned the export of cars worth more than 50,000 euros into Russia.

Kadyrov was also spotted wearing what appears to be a Jacob & Co. Billionaire Ashoka watch. The newspaper Kommersant noted that only a few limited-edition versions of the Ashoka exist. In 2023, Jacob & Co. released a run of 18 watches in this line, each starting at $2 million.

Maria Pevchikh, head of the Anti-Corruption Foundation founded by Alexey Navalny, estimates that Kadyrov’s watch is worth around 550 million rubles (approximately $7 million). She explained that the price can range from $3 million to $20 million, depending on the configuration of diamonds and other gemstones, and that her estimate is based on a mid-range figure of $7 million.
