Israel has not sent Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine, the Israeli Interior Ministry told the news site Ynet on Tuesday.

“These statements are not true. Israel did not give Patriot systems to Ukraine,” the ministry said.

Earlier, Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhael Brodsky said in an interview that Israel had sent Ukraine Patriot systems that had been in service with the Israeli Defense Forces in the 1990s. “Unfortunately, not much has been said about this. But when people say that Israel didn’t help militarily, that's not true. That's false,” Brodsky told blogger Marychka Dovbenko.
