Chinese sanctions on Skydio, the U.S.’s largest drone maker and a supplier to Ukraine’s military, have blocked the American company’s sole battery supplier, reports The Financial Times.
“China’s sanctions, imposed on October 11, hit several U.S. groups, including privately held Skydio, in retaliation for Washington’s approval of the sale of attack drones to Taiwan,” FT said on Wednesday. Skydio is now “rushing to find alternative suppliers.”
