Navalny’s mother files lawsuit against Russia’s Investigative Committee for not releasing son’s body

Alexey Navalny’s mother, Lyudmila Navalnaya, has filed a lawsuit against the Russian Investigative Committee for not releasing her son’s body, reports the Salekhard City Court’s press service.

“The complaint was filed against unlawful actions and decisions. [The hearing] is scheduled for March 4. It will be a closed court session,” the press service said.

Russia’s Investigative Committee has refused to release Navalny’s body, saying that they are conducting an investigation into his death.
