At least five people injured in attack on Russian border village
At least five people were injured after the village of Rzhevka, in the Belgorod region’s Shebekinsky district, came under fire, reported governor Vyacheslav Gladkov. The village is located near Russia’s border with Ukraine.
The governor said that Ukraine was responsible for the attack. Two residences were also reportedly damaged.
Earlier, Gladkov wrote that one local resident was injured when a drone hit a bus.
On February 7, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that the city of Belgorod was attacked by rockets from a RM-70 Vampire multiple rocket launcher. According to the ministry, Russian air defenses destroyed seven rockets launched from the RM-70 Vampire.
