Russian rapper who attended ‘almost naked’ party receives military summons after release from jail
Russian rapper Vacio (Nikolai Vasiliev), who served 15 days in jail (before being sentenced to another 10 days) for attending TV presenter Nastya Ivleeva’s “almost naked” party in Moscow, said he went to a military recruitment center and received a military summons.
“I was at the the military recruitment center today. I received a summons. Thank you all for your support, everything will be okay. I’m coming to terms with the situation,” said the rapper in a video message. He didn’t provide further details about the summons.
Earlier, Russian state news agency RIA Novosti, citing Vacio’s lawyer, said that he was released after two consecutive arrests, enlisted in the military, and passed a medical examination. “Now the question of his level of fitness for military service is being addressed,” said the lawyer, adding that the rapper considers serving in the army an “honorable duty.”
