Update: Bryansk governor Alexander Bogomaz said previous reports about a 10-year-old girl killed by the shelling proved to be false. According to him, two civilians were killed — a man born in 2023 and a woman born in 1994. Another man sustained minor injuries.
The Governor of Russia’s Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz said that Klimovo, a village on the border with Ukraine, was shelled by multiple rocket launcher systems. Bogomaz said Ukraine’s Armed Forces were responsible for the shelling.
According to preliminary information, several people were killed, including one child. Five civilians were also injured as a result of the attack. According to the Telegram channel Mash, a 10-year old girl was killed when a shell from a BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher system hit a playground.
The governor said that a school and several administrative buildings were damaged. One house was destroyed. Energy supply to the village was also disrupted.
