New Meduza merch hits the shelves

In late 2024, to mark Meduza’s 10th anniversary, we released new merch for the first time in years. The full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the Kremlin’s decision to outlaw our newsroom made it dangerous to wear our stuff in Russia, let alone manufacture it. To bring it back, we had to set up production in Europe and start from scratch. After Meduza’s first merch drop sold out in just four days, we got a bunch of emails asking for another batch. Well, folks, round two is ready to go. And we’ve even added some new items this time.

Hoodies and T-shirts, back in action

We styled the print like a death metal band logo because everything that’s happened in the last few years has been brutal and hardcore. But it’s also meant to be indecipherable to the uninitiated, so outsiders can’t immediately see “Meduza” in its tangled design. For the same reason, we picked an unconventional color: black on black. Order now before they sell out again.

And now, a new item: white (!) long-sleeve shirts

Yes, in addition to black hoodies, we now have white long-sleeve shirts. You’ll find the same “Meduza” lettering on the chest, styled like a death metal band logo. The print? White on white. Wear it with pride, and remember that there is light despite all of the darkness.

Every Meduza item comes with an Easter egg. This time, we’re going even further and launching merch for an unannounced project.

For us, merch is another way to tell stories. So, in every new drop, we embed a message.

This time, we’ve cooked up caps bearing the word “No.” It encapsulates our right to reject what we find wrong, unjust, or unacceptable. We say no to war, dictatorship, and fear. You can add to that list.

“No” is also the name of a new, very unexpected project that Meduza has been developing for months. More on that soon.
