On August 28, Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Hanna Maliar announced that the Ukrainian military had liberated the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

“We continue to have offensives in the south. You know that Robotyne has been liberated,” RBC Ukraine quoted Maliar as saying.

According to Maliar, Ukrainian troops are advancing southeast of Robotyne and south of Mala Tokmachka.

Robotyne was one of Russia’s fortified settlements in the Orikhiv direction in Zaporizhzhia region. Information that Ukraine had partially liberated this settlement began appearing in mid-August.
