Alexey Navalny tweeted that the state prosecutor is seeking for him to be sentenced to 20 years in prison in the “extremism” case against him. According to Navalny, the prosecutor is demanding that he serve his sentence in a special regime colony.

Navalny also wrote that the prosecutor demanded that the second defendant in the case, Daniel Kholodny, be sentenced to 10 years in a general regime colony.

Navalny is accused of creating an “extremist community,” calling for “extremism,” creating a non-profit organization that infringed on the rights of citizens, financing extremism, involving minors in committing dangerous acts, and rehabilitating Nazism.

The verdict is scheduled to be announced on August 4 at 4 p.m.
