Wagner Group fighters announce closure of organization’s main base

Wagner Group’s main base is closing down, a Telegram channel linked to the paramilitary group reported on Monday. The channel posted a video of the Russian and Wagner Group flags being lowered at the base, which is located in Russia’s Krasnodar region.
“The base in Molkino is ceasing to exist. Wagner Group is leaving for new deployment sites,” a man in a military uniform says in the video.
According to another fighter in the clip, the base will officially shut down on July 30, 2023.
