Russia reportedly shoots down drones attacking Krasnodar oil refinery

Several drones were shot down as they approached the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region, report local officials.
“At around 2:00 am local time on May 28, several unmanned aerial vehicles tried to approach the territory of the Ilsky oil refinery. They were all neutralized,” read a statement about the attack.
The incident reportedly caused extensive smoke, which was quickly extinguished. There were no casualties and no damage to the oil refinery’s infrastructure.
The Ilsky oil refinery was previously attacked by drones on May 4 and May 5. On both occasions, the attacks caused fires. There were no reports of casualties or significant damage.
