A fire broke out at the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region on Friday morning after the facility was attacked by drones for the second time in two days, Russia state media reported.

According to the country’s Emergency Ministry, the fire covered an area of 60 square meters (645 square feet) at its height. First responders reportedly managed to extinguish it before anybody was injured.

According to the state news agency Interfax, local authorities said the blaze was preceded by an explosion on the refinery’s territory.

The Telegram channel Mash wrote that the drone attack was carried out by a group of “saboteurs.” According to refinery employees, the attackers used an explosive device to blow up one of the facility’s units and subsequently tried to hide, but were ultimately arrested.
