Only 12 Russians received Ukrainian visas in latter half of 2022

From the time Ukraine introduced a visa requirement for Russians entering the country in July 2022 to the end of the year, only 12 Russian citizens obtained Ukrainian visas, Meduza has learned from a source close to Ukraine’s leadership.
According to the source, the Ukrainian government only grants visas to Russians in extremely rare circumstances, such as when the visa applicant has close relatives in Ukraine.
