A Russian drone strike destroyed a warehouse in Kyiv full of props from Volodymyr Zelensky’s former comedy studio, but the studio says all scheduled concerts will go ahead

An overnight Russian drone strike on Kyiv destroyed a warehouse storing props from the Kvartal 95 studio, the studio said.

The studio said the strike destroyed numerous sets, costumes, and other items used in Kvartal 95 concerts, television shows, films, and series over the past 20 years.

“Russian weapons can destroy property. But they cannot stop us. We will keep working, writing new jokes, and helping Ukraine’s defenders. All scheduled concerts will go ahead — with or without the props,” the studio said.

A warehouse belonging to the Olena Zelenska Foundation was also destroyed. The foundation said on social media that the warehouse burned to the ground but no one was hurt. It held humanitarian aid that the foundation had purchased or received from partners to distribute to children, families, and institutions across Ukraine.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said a Russian drone struck a warehouse in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi district, sparking a fire and injuring one person.

Kvartal 95 is a Ukrainian studio that Volodymyr Zelensky co-founded and was part of before becoming president. The studio was established in 2003 out of the KVN comedy team 95-y Kvartal. For more than 20 years, it has produced television shows, films, series, and concert programs.
