At least two reportedly killed in Ukrainian drone attack on Russia’s Novorossiysk

At least two people were killed and at least three others injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian city of Novorossiysk on Wednesday, Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported.

According to Kondratyev, the drones struck “in broad daylight” near the city’s central Novorossiysk hotel. Five buildings were reportedly damaged, including the hotel and multiple apartment buildings. The city’s mayor, Andrey Kravchenko, said Russian forces were working to repel the drones.

Authorities declared a state of emergency in the city.
