Russian air defenses shot down 36 drones headed for Moscow on Monday night, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported on Tuesday.

Russian authorities also reported drone attacks in various other regions. According to the Defense Ministry, air defenses shot down 69 Ukrainian drones across the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Moscow, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, and Saratov regions, as well as in annexed Crimea.

In the Moscow suburb of Reutov, falling drone debris damaged four cars. The Telegram channel Baza reported that one drone had crashed into a parking lot.

Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport was temporarily closed due to the drone attacks, while more than 20 flights were delayed at Vnukovo Airport.
