Ukrainian drones struck Russian-occupied Crimea overnight. According to the latest figures from Russian authorities, three people were killed and 16 others were injured.
Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed the drones, equipped with “high-explosive charges,” targeted civilian sites in a resort area.
Sergey Aksyonov, the Kremlin-appointed head of Crimea, said several facilities on the grounds of the Foros resort were damaged, along with a school building.
The Defense Ministry said a total of 114 Ukrainian drones were shot down over Russian regions and Crimea during the night. According to the ministry, 25 were intercepted over the Rostov region, another 25 over Krasnodar Krai, 19 over the Belgorod region, and 13 over the Astrakhan region.
Ukraine has not yet commented on the strike in Crimea.
