Russia’s Belgorod region bans posting information about Ukrainian attacks from unofficial sources

Russia’s emergency response headquarters in the Belgorod region has banned posting any information online about Russian military activity or the aftermath of Ukrainian attacks if it comes from unofficial sources, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Thursday.
“Only information published by official representatives of the authorities, the counterterrorism operation headquarters, and law enforcement or security agencies may be shared,” Gladkov said.
He added that any citizens who fail to comply with the rule will face misdemeanor charges.
