Russian forces launched an overnight strike on Kyiv, according to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the city’s military administration. Ukraine’s Interior Ministry said one person was killed and five others were injured.

City officials reported that the attack ignited fires in residential buildings, a supermarket, non-residential structures, as well as retail and warehouse facilities. The entrance to the Lukianivska metro station was also damaged. Tkachenko said debris had fallen on the grounds of a kindergarten. Several streets in Kyiv were closed to traffic.

Ivano-Frankivsk also came under Russian attack, according to the city’s mayor, Ruslan Martsinkiv, who described the assault as the most extensive on the city since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Civilian infrastructure across the Ivano-Frankivsk municipality sustained damage. Four people were injured, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said.

In Kharkiv, drone strikes damaged a residential complex, a road, and power lines, local officials said. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the regional administration reported damage to a business, infrastructure facilities, and a gas station. Two vehicles were also destroyed by fire.

Ukraine’s Air Force and Russia’s Defense Ministry have not yet commented on the strikes.
