Russian forces launched a wave of overnight attacks across Ukraine, targeting multiple cities and damaging infrastructure, Ukrainian officials said.

In the Vinnytsia region, drones struck industrial facilities in the city of Vinnytsia and damaged residential buildings in surrounding areas, according to Natalia Zabolotna, deputy head of the regional military administration. As of 6:40 a.m. local time, seven people had been reported injured in the city, five of whom suffered burns.

Zabolotna said the region was attacked by 28 drones, 18 of which were shot down.

Kryvyi Rih was also struck by drones and a missile overnight, said Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s Defense Council. A 17-year-old boy was injured, an industrial facility was destroyed, several fires broke out, and parts of the city lost power.

“Sixteen enemy drones were shot down over the region and in the skies above Kryvyi Rih,” Vilkul wrote on Telegram. “But the most massive attack on the city since the start of the war — involving a ballistic missile and 28 Shahed drones launched simultaneously — still resulted in numerous strikes.”

In the Odesa region, Russian drones targeted the Izmail District, damaging an infrastructure facility, according to local authorities. No injuries were reported.

Earlier in the evening on July 15, Russian forces also attacked Kharkiv with drones, according to Governor Oleh Syniehubov. At least 17 explosions were recorded in the city over a span of 20 minutes, he said. Most of the strikes hit a civilian enterprise, setting off a fire. Preliminary reports indicated no casualties.
