Russian drones attacked the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv early on Monday, according to Governor Oleh Syniehubov. Mayor Ihor Terekhov said at least 27 people were injured in the strikes.

In the city’s Shevchenkivskyi district, a drone hit an apartment building, igniting a fire on the eighth floor. Ukrainian Telegram channels circulated footage showing the aftermath. In the Slobidskyi district, civilian infrastructure and a kindergarten building were damaged, Syniehubov said.

Russian forces also attacked Odesa with drones, killing at least one person, according to Governor Oleh Kiper. A drone reportedly struck a security post near a new apartment complex, killing the security guard on duty. Strikes also damaged or destroyed other infrastructure in the city, including a car repair shop and several vehicles.

Kyiv was also targeted by Russian drones, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. Debris from downed drones fell in several districts, damaging an administrative building, an office complex, gas and water pipelines, and vehicles. A major heating pipeline was also damaged.
