Russian Post has launched a package delivery service to North Korea, TASS reported, citing the company’s press service.

Both individuals and legal entities in Russia can now send packages to the DPRK. According to Russian Post, deliveries will take 15 calendar days. All shipments will first be routed through Vladivostok before being flown to North Korea.

“The DPRK is a key strategic partner for Russia and a promising destination for businesses of all kinds,” the company said.

Parcel deliveries from Russia to North Korea were possible until 2020, when the country shut its borders during the coronavirus pandemic and suspended all incoming mail.
