A Ukrainian drone struck a gas station in the Russian city of Belgorod, killing one person and injuring several others, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Tuesday.

The victim, a local woman, died when a convenience store attached to the gas station collapsed, according to Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry. Four others — three women and a man — were hospitalized with moderate injuries.

“There is a threat of a second drone strike,” Gladkov said, adding that only emergency services and local defense forces were working at the site.

Earlier on Tuesday, Gladkov reported that several Ukrainian drones had been shot down over Belgorod. An eight-year-old child was injured by falling debris. Russia’s Defense Ministry said air defenses intercepted 102 Ukrainian drones overnight, including 26 over the Belgorod region.
