Russian forces launched a drone strike on the city of Pryluky in Ukraine’s Chernihiv region overnight on Thursday, killing five people — including a one-year-old child — and injuring six others, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

The strike ignited a major fire in a residential neighborhood, destroying several structures, including two homes.

Vyacheslav Chaus, the region’s governor, said Russian troops launched at least six attack drones at the city. He added that the victims — two men, two women, and a child — were found beneath the rubble.
