Overnight Russian drone attacks on Ukrainian cities damage civilian businesses and injure at least 20

Russian forces carried out drone strikes on the Ukrainian cities of Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Kramatorsk on Tuesday night, according to regional officials and Ukraine's State Emergency Service.

In Kharkiv, the attacks primarily targeted the Osnovyanskyi district, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported. Two people were injured. A spokesperson for the regional prosecutor’s office said all of the strikes hit civilian businesses in an industrial area, including a confectionery factory, a small household goods manufacturer, a paint plant, and several vehicle service stations. The State Emergency Service added that the Kyivskyi and Industrialnyi districts were also affected.

In Dnipro, 15 people were injured, according to Serhiy Lysak, head of the regional military administration. Eight of them remain hospitalized, most in moderate condition.

In Kramatorsk, three people were injured in the overnight attack, regional military administration head Vadym Filashkin said. Preliminary reports identify the victims as an 11-year-old girl, her 34-year-old mother, and a 55-year-old woman.
