Representatives of Russia and the U.S. will meet in Istanbul for a second round of talks on normalizing diplomatic relations in the coming days, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova announced on Tuesday.
“The venue, format, and participant composition will remain unchanged,” she said. The Russian delegation will reportedly be led by Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Alexander Darchiyev, while the U.S. delegation will be headed by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Sonata Coulter.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the meeting will take place on April 10.
