Russian forces launched a large-scale drone attack on Ukraine overnight on April 3–4, killing at least four people and injuring dozens. The majority of the strikes targeted the Kharkiv and Kyiv regions.

In Kharkiv, attack drones damaged apartment buildings in the southwest of the city late Thursday. As of Friday morning, four people had been confirmed dead and 35 injured, according to Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

In the Kyiv region’s Brovary district, drones struck a parking lot and a car dealership, damaging around 30 vehicles, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported. Two people were injured.

According to Ukraine’s Air Force Command, Russian forces launched a total of 78 drones across Ukraine, 42 of which were shot down.

Russia’s Defense Ministry has not commented on the attacks in Ukraine but claimed that 107 drones were destroyed over Russian territory during the night — including 34 over the Kursk region and 30 over the Oryol region. The ministry also reported that three drones were downed in the Moscow region. No casualties were reported.
