U.S. and Ukrainian delegations met in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday for another round of talks, according to AFP.
The meeting, the plans for which were first reported by The Guardian on Monday evening, followed discussions between American and Russian representatives in the same city that lasted over 12 hours. Neither Moscow nor Washington has disclosed details of those talks.
Ahead of the U.S.-Ukraine discussions, Bloomberg reported that the two sides would be discussing a 30-day ceasefire in the Black Sea and on energy infrastructure.
At around 1:00 p.m. Riyadh time, the Ukrainian outlet Suspilne reported that the meeting had concluded.
The previous U.S.-Ukraine meeting took place in Riyadh on Sunday. Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov described those talks as “productive and focused.”
