The Ukrainian military has run out of U.S.-supplied long-range ATACMS missiles, The Associated Press reported, citing an American official and a Ukrainian lawmaker.
According to the U.S. official, Ukraine’s supply of ATACMS was depleted by late January. In total, the United States delivered fewer than 40 of the missiles to Kyiv.
President Donald Trump has opposed Ukraine’s use of long-range missiles to strike Russian territory. Shortly after winning the election, he said he “vehemently” disagreed with “sending missiles hundreds of miles into Russia.”
