A temporary 30-day ceasefire in the Russian-Ukrainian war is set to be discussed “next week,” between March 17 and 23, Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian president’s office, told reporters early on March 12 following U.S.-Ukrainian talks in Saudi Arabia, Ukrinform reported.

“We have already agreed that next week, at the technical expert level, teams will begin discussing all the details,” Yermak said.

He added that the United States must now bring the proposals developed during the talks to Russia. “After this meeting, the key is now in Russia’s hands. And the whole world will see who truly wants peace and who only talks about it,” he said.
