Russian forces launched an overnight attack on Ukraine’s Kherson, striking the city with three guided aerial bombs, according to Roman Mrochko, head of the city’s military administration.

One of the bombs hit an apartment building in the city center, Mrochko said. Photos shared on his Telegram channel show several floors of the building destroyed.

At least five people were injured, including 13-year-old twins — a boy and a girl — he added. Their mother is believed to be trapped under the rubble, reported Governor Oleksandr Prokudin. A search and rescue operation is underway.
