One killed, several injured in Russian drone strikes on Kyiv region

Russian forces targeted several districts in the Kyiv region with drones on Friday, local authorities reported.

In the Brovary district, a truck was struck, killing its 25-year-old driver, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service. In the Fastiv district, debris from a downed drone injured a 23-year-old woman.

In the Bila Tserkva district, several homes were damaged, and three people were injured, including a 16-year-old boy, his father, and a 68-year-old woman, acting Governor Mykola Kalashnyk said.

A fire also broke out at a private home in the Darnytskyi district, Kyiv City Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko reported. The fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported.
