Moscow says Ukraine attacked chemical plant in southern Russia with Western-made ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles
On Wednesday, Ukraine targeted the Kamensky Combine, a chemical plant in Russia’s Rostov region that makes rocket fuel for the military, using six U.S.-made ATACMS missiles and four British-made Storm Shadow missiles, according to Russian authorities.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian air defense systems intercepted all ATACMS missiles and three of the four Storm Shadow missiles. One cruise missile was “diverted from its target, damaging a technical structure on the combine’s premises upon impact,” the ministry stated.
"The actions of the Kyiv regime, supported by its Western sponsors, will not go unanswered," the ministry added.
