Russian missile attack on Donetsk region injures one person, damages dozens of buildings
On February 25, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the city of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region’s Kramatorsk district. According to preliminary information from Ukraine’s National Police, the attack was carried out by missiles. The Donetsk region prosecutor’s office believes a KAB-250 aerial bomb was used in the attack.
The police say dozens of buildings were either destroyed or damaged in the attack, including the railway station building, a church, 12 apartment buildings, two houses, 21 stores, 19 market stands, three educational institutions, two administrative buildings, a post office, and a kiosk.
According to Ukrainian news outlet Suspilne, a 75-year-old woman was injured in the attack.
Officials have opened an investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war.
