Biden calls Putin ‘crazy SOB,’ Kremlin says Biden acting like ‘Hollywood cowboy’

During a fundraising event on Wednesday, U.S. President Joe Biden referred to Russian President Vladimir Putin as “a crazy SOB,” reports Reuters. Biden made the comment while speaking to a group of donors about global threats. “We have a crazy SOB like that guy Putin and others and we always have to worry about nuclear conflict, but the existential threat to humanity is climate,” said Biden.

In response, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the U.S. president should be “ashamed” of his words and was acting like a “Hollywood cowboy” to serve domestic political interests. “Boorish statements like this from the head of the United States are unlikely to hurt the pride of the head of another state, especially President Putin. But this is a huge disgrace for the country itself, for the United States,” Peskov commented.
