U.S. Ambassador to Russia Lynne Tracey lays flowers in Moscow for Alexey Navalny

Lynne Tracy, U.S. Ambassador to Russia, has laid flowers at the Solovetsky Stone in Moscow in memory of Alexey Navalny, the embassy’s press service reported.
“Today at the Solovetsky Stone we mourn the passing of Alexey Navalny and all other victims of political repression in Russia. Our hearts go out to his family, friends and supporters. His strength is an inspiration. We honor his memory.” the U.S. embassy said in a statement.
The day before, Nigel Casey, the British Ambassador to Russia did the same.
