Russian forces launched drone strikes on Ukraine’s Kharkiv and Velykyi Burluk, killing seven people, reports Kharkiv Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov. Three children, ages seven, four, and about six months, are among the dead.

Five of the deceased, including the children, were found in one house.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov wrote that drones hit a gas station, causing a fuel spill and fires, and 15 houses burned to the ground.

Drones also attacked the Odesa region, injuring at least one person, reported Governor Oleh Kiper. Nine drones were launched toward Odesa, all of which were shot down, but falling debris damaged some port infrastructure, said Nataliya Humenyuk, a spokesperson for Ukraine's Operational Command South.

Ukraine’s Air Force reported that 23 drones were shot down over Ukraine early Saturday.
