The Russian Armed Forces launched 24 Shahed drones into Ukrainian territory early Friday, reports Ukraine’s Air Force Command.

The Ukrainian Air Force said 11 drones were shot down over Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Kirovohrad, and Kharkiv regions. According to Dnipropetrovsk Governor Serhiy Lysak, one of the drones damaged an electrical substation in Kryvyi Rih, leaving about 40,000 people in the area without power. Electricity was also lost in two mines, where 100 people were at the time. Some of the miners have already managed to safely reach the surface, wrote the governor.
