Russia launches missile strike on Kharkiv, reportedly killing one and injuring over 15
The Russian Armed Forces launched two missiles at Kharkiv late Tuesday, reports Kharkiv Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov.
On Wednesday morning, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov wrote that 19 people were injured in the attack. In turn, Kharkiv Regional Police Chief Volodymyr Timoshko reported that one person was killed and 17 were injured. According to Terekhov, the strikes damaged at least 10 residential buildings.
Several hours after the missile strike on Kharkiv, Russian forces attacked Odesa with drones. Ukraine’s Air Force reported 20 drones, 19 of which they managed to shoot down. Odesa governor Oleh Kiper said three people were injured in the attack and an apartment building was damaged and had to be evacuated.
