North Korea has recently supplied Russia with ballistic missiles and ballistic missile launchers, and Russian troops have begun using them in the war against Ukraine, said U.S. National Security Council Spokesperson John Kirby during a briefing. He added that these missiles were used during attacks on December 30 and January 2.

In October 2023, Kirby mentioned that North Korea had supplied Russia with military equipment and ammunition. According to Bloomberg, North Korea has sent more than one million artillery rounds to Russia.
