Russian military aircraft accidentally drops aviation munition over Russian village, damaging houses

Update: Four people were injured in the incident, according to Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev. He added that nine houses will have to be rebuilt and that a school, a community center, and a village administration building were also damaged.
At least seven private residential houses in the village of Petropavlovka in Russia’s Voronezh region were damaged when a Russian military aircraft accidentally dropped an aviation munition, reports Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev. According to him, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that on January 2 at about 9 a.m. local time, “an unscheduled release of an aviation munition occurred,” during a Russian Air Force flight, wrote RIA Novosti.
