Over 25 reportedly injured as Russia strikes Ukraine’s Kharkiv

Update: According to the latest report, 28 people were injured in the attack.

The Russian Armed Forces launched a series of strikes on Kharkiv late Saturday evening. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that there were at least six strikes, including ones in the city center.

The attacks damaged the city's central hotel, as well as apartment buildings, a kindergarten, shops, and administrative buildings, according to the regional prosecutor's office.

As a result of the attack, 21 people were injured, the prosecutor’s office reports. There were no reports of fatalities. Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said that a journalist from the U.K. was among the injured.
