Ukraine shells Russia’s Belgorod, two children reportedly killed

Ukraine’s Armed Forces shelled the Russian city of Belgorod on Saturday afternoon, reports Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

According to Gladkov, two children were killed in the attack and multiple people were injured. The governor also said that the city was under an air raid alert and urged residents to take shelter.

The Telegram channel 112 wrote that there were four dead and seven injured as a result of the shelling. The channel did not provide sources for this information.

Locals have posted numerous photos and videos reportedly showing the aftermath of the shelling.

The day before, Belgorod was also shelled. Gladkov said that one person was killed and four were injured in the previous day’s attack.
