Ukraine says Russia’s overnight air attack biggest since start of full-scale invasion

Source: Meduza

Russian forces launched an overnight attack on Ukraine, which Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov called the largest air attack since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Umerov wrote on Facebook:

The Russians have for many months already accumulated missiles for these goals: hitting residential buildings, shopping malls, hospitals. Peaceful Ukrainian cities. […] This was the most massive air attack of the war.

According to Umerov, Russia has accumulated enough missiles to continue launching such massive attacks: “Obviously, with the kind of missile stockpile that the aggressor state possesses, they can and will continue such attacks.”

The Defense Minister added that the Ukrainian leadership will continue discussions with its partners in regard to supplying Kyiv with additional air defenses.
