Source: Meduza

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s bid for reelection was unanimously endorsed at the United Russia party congress in Moscow. During a speech at the event, Putin said that the plans of the “Western elite” to destabilize Russia through “so-called ‘color revolutions’” have not worked and will not work.

Putin added that the Russian government “will always be sovereign.” “We will make all decisions ourselves, without prompts from abroad,” Putin said, continuing to state that, “Russia cannot give up its sovereignty in exchange for sausage like some countries, and become someone’s satellite.”
