The Russian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on Kyiv in the early hours of December 13, with falling missile debris reportedly injuring 51 people, including six children. Ukraine’s Air Force said that 10 missiles were shot down.
Fires broke out in a home and an apartment building, prompting evacuations. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the Dniprovskyi district suffered the most casualties. Falling debris there hit homes and a hospital, and a shockwave blew out the windows in two apartment buildings. A water supply system in the Dniprovskyi district was also damaged.
