Palestine’s ambassador to Russia says President Mahmoud Abbas will soon visit Moscow

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will make an official visit to Moscow in the near future, Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Abdel Hafiz Nofal said on Tuesday.
According to Nofal, who appeared on the state television channel Russia 24, preparations for the visit are currently underway. “We’re maintaining daily contact with Moscow,” he said.
Abbas leads the Fatah party, which controls the West Bank. Hamas, the militant group that launched an attack on Israel on October 7, controls the Gaza Strip.
