Kadyrov’s youngest son takes to Instagram to respond to criticism following video of him beating prisoner
Adam Kadyrov, the youngest son of Chechnya Governor Ramzan Kadyrov, has made an Instagram post responding to criticisms that followed his father’s publication of a video that showed the 15-year-old beating a defenseless prisoner.
“You can gossip about me, hate me, envy me, and talk about me. But we both know that if you meet me, you’ll smile sweetly at me,” wrote the younger Kadyrov.
The post was published on September 25, the same day that Ramzan Kadyrov posted the video, but it didn’t garner public attention until Thursday.
The Telegram channel Ostorozhno, Novosti observed that comments on the Instagram post were restricted soon after it was published, and that there are currently only positive comments, including many from Chechnya officials.
